Capeshores Charters is trying to provide a fishing experience that bests your previous trips. That means we are willing to travel farther to a less crowded area, leave small fish in search of larger ones, or fish with a more sporting outfit or method. This requires additional effort and experience from the captain. The vessel "Marilyn S" has an enclosed cabin, powered by a powerful, yet quiet inboard engines providing additional comfort and safety for you. You will probably be able to find a skipper to take you fishing for less money, but will you have the same level of comfort a larger and safer boat can provide? Will the spray coming over the bow of the smaller open charter boats and the bouncy ride be worth the $50-$100 dollar difference? Will you have the range to find the less fished waters?
At the start of my 20th year of Capeshores Charters, I have been blessed with a rapidly grown business. I attribute that to 3 things. Excellent fishing. Quality light tackle. Personality. There is a lot more to you having a great charter than catching a mess of fish. It requires me to be friendly and take the time to answer questions, point out interesting highlights, like a working lobster boat, seals, whales, geographic things, etc. Unfortunately, with the seasonal nature of the business, I am limited to the total number of trips I can do in a season, even at two trips a day. With the increased demand and bookings, I found those that did not reserve their fishing day in advance were turned away, because I was already booked. I was as disappointed as they were. It is strongly suggested to reserve in advance! PLEASE don't wait until you arrive on Cape for your vacation to call me for a trip. If you have any questions about fishing with Capeshores Charters, email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 508-237-0399.
Most of the Capeshores Charters fishing trips are either five hours or seven hours in duration, and are scheduled according to the timing of the tide. Trips are picked up and discharged as close as possible to the times of slack water, providing the best fishing times while the current is moving. Tuna and cod trips are different in cost, duration and departure times to account for travel and other considerations.

|4 Hour Charter||5 Hour Charter||7 Hour Charter||8 Hour School Tuna (or Cod)||10 hour Tuna (or Combo)||Giant Blufin Tuna|
A deposit of one third of the charter cost is required to make a charter reservation. A 5-hour trip is $625, and a 7-hour trip is $825. School Tuna trips start at $1150 for 8 hours or 10 hours for $1450. Trips specifically targeting "giant" bluefin tuna are 12 hours or more (generally pre dawn to dark) and start at $1800 per day. The added costs are due to different gear, and supplies required, and the preparations required prior to your day. We also offer a $3200, two or three day overnight "bucket list" giant tuna trip that is limited to two anglers. Lodging is also available. These are very limited as the days set aside for these trips are the optimum for small tides and the very best times of the year, and preparation is key. Call the Captain to arrange or discuss. A deposit is required to make a reservation. Checks can be mailed to the above name and address. If you cancel your trip shorter than 7 days before your trip you will forfeit your deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of scheduled departure you will be charged for the trip, unless I can rebook it. If the Captain cancels the trip due to weather or mechanical circumstances, you will be rescheduled at the next open date or will be issued a refund of your deposit.
