The boom truck dropped the engine back on her beds this morning. I will be hooking up the controls and testing everthing this weekend and we will see how my mechanical skills are ! If all goes well I will be in the water by the end of next week. There is a new winner of a Guy Harvey T shirt ! Jeremy Yerkes of Pitman, New Jersey was the 15th respondant to the fishing survey and won a awsum striper print T shirt. I hope its lucky for you. He says he wants to bring his dad out fishing for a father's day gift, considering his Pop paid for his college education, its the least he could do. The latest fish report is not the best as I haven't been out. I do know that I would have had to cancel a lot of charters due to wind this spring. Today its blowing 30 knots again ! There are fish up to 30 pounds scattered all along our shorelines, looking for bait concentrations. I have heard of bass crashing squid at Race Point, big fish at the herring runs, and also along the beaches of Nantucket. I have been fishing inshore with my flyrod in the evenings on Nauset Inlet and its been hit or miss depending on the wind direction. The cold easterly winds seem to be the worst, but I've managed to have a decent outing most every time I go. Folks that are considering a Fathers Day trip should make the reservation as soon as you can, this is a popular weekend.good fishing,
Captain Bruce
