I am sorry for being lax in the fishing report ! I have been thinking about Bluefin tuna and haven't been right in my mind. It seems they are in for a day or two and then leave way to the east, and that cycle repeats over and over. The weather has been less than desirable. There are still a pile of Bluefish at the "C" bouy, it seems they have been there a month now. The bass have moved from there and are on the beaches sporadically and in the rips where there is both bait and water temperature. You may have to look for the larger fish as there are too many smaller under 30 inch fish between Chatham and Monomoy point to hold the bigger ones. A freind told me he has caught several 35 pound fish in the last two days of the backside. Call Blackbeard's Bait shop in Eastham on Brackett Road for the straight scoop on the beach fishing.
