Hi everyone,We now have it to ourselves. Most of the vacationers have taken their families back to school. The crowds of boaters have gone, leaving the fishing to us. The stripers are still here. On Sunday I had the Strapponi charter which required 2 boats. There was a little competition going on for the biggest fish, which was fun. For the record, I will admit my boat lost, but only by 3/4 of an inch ! We caught many fish that morning, all had a limit within an hour, with many fish being released. The biggest was a 40 incher and several 38 and 39 inch fish to spare. The afternoon trip was much the same. Cape Cod Computer Wholesalers, (the gents that set up and manage my website) had much the same fishing. We stopped the boat to demonstrate the fishing technique and had one on. The day was unbelieveable, with many large fish being caught and released. I thinmk the biggest was a 39 3/4 inch 29 pounder. As the trip came to a close, I looked back and all of my party was sitting in the chairs enjoying the sunset and not even fishing ! Life is good when you can catch em until you don't want to catch em anymore ! Incidentally, for those who are nonbelievers, these fish are all caught withing 2 miles of the beach !
Good fishing,
Captain Bruce Peters
