1. Bruce,Just a quick note to tell you what a great trip we had today.
Not only did you find fish, you were terrific in teaching all of us how to be better fishermen. We will definitely recommend you to others, and I hope that we will be able to fish with you again soon.
Thanks again.

2. If you want to catch striped bass, book a fishing trip with Bruce Peters out of Chatham, Mass. on the Cape.
My buddy Bill Tustian, his daughter Amanda 15, son Andrew 13 and I went out with Bruce this morning and caught a mess of fish!
Amanda, who had never landed a fish before, began with a 37" inch keeper! That gets cooked tonight. And it went on from there. All of us caught keepers, releasing all the rest including my 39" and Bill's 41"! Andrew boated nine fish and none of us less than six! All in a five hour trip.
Bruce is very knowledgeable, a great teacher about fishing and the area, and a great guy to be out on the boat with. We especially enjoyed drifting down over the rips next to other, larger boats loaded with all of the right equipment who were being skunked, and landing (and releasing!) large stripers right under their noses just because of Bruce's knowledge of bait and fishing techniques.
Look at Bruce's' web site at www.spportfishingcapecod.com and let me know if you want to make up a party for a trip after Labor Day.
Just for you cynics out there, this is a totally unsolicited email, although I hope Bruce will take me back to the hot spots next time we fish together!
Tight lines!
Patrick
3. Bruce,
I've finally got over this flu bug and had some time to write you a big Thankyou from the three of us! If you remember Gerald , Stephen and myself, Dennis Chidester, we had a banner day with you on July 27th even though it was blowing out of the northeast - the bass were busting sandeels all afternoon. In fact I read your report about our party getting 40 bass up to 39 inches all on fin-s ! It was awesome and we all wanted to let you know we appreciated your candor up front suggesting we take Friday afternoon instead, but as luck would have it - Gerald was leaving Friday, so as it turned out it was a great trip. They both caught their biggest stripers ever and you have created a new striper addict in 15 year-old Stephen! I thankyou !
P.S. After reading your "Fishing instinctively" article in On the Water I too made a good move that next night, Friday , July 28. I had a gut hunch about the backbeaches since it was blowing hard out of the southwest - my favorite wind on the cape! Anyway I arrived at dusk and did the mile and a half walk to a point all by myself. Bass were busting the surface and sandeels were on the beach - I knew I was in Nirvana! best nite of the week - 6 big bass - one 43 incher -over 30 lbs - all on live eels. I had fished it two nights before without a hit but sometimes you have to play a hunch and "fish instinctively!" Good Fishing, Dennis

5. Hey Bruce! Just wanted to tell you John and I agree with Joe's comments on the GREAT time. It was certainly the greatest fishing experience we have had...still smiling about it :-) even though back to work today :-(
Thanks so much for the great trip, lots of laughs, and just being yourself. It was very comfortable.
Hope to see you next year. I'll email some pictures to you if there are nice ones.
See Ya Lori
6. Bruce, Thanks for the great trip on fri. Brian, Andy, and I had a blast. I'm not sure I have Brian convinced now that golf is a woosey sport but he was pumped when we drove home. It's nice to catch some fish with meat on their bones, but I'm not going to give up the fly rod just yet. Now, where were those albies .... We'll be back. Mark Collins
