I know it is well after the time I am supposed to be adding this report. My only exuse is I get too exited about tuna fishing to take the time to post the report. I then went to the midwest for a short vacation. After losing my first giant next to the boat, I shortened the leaders and bought a longer heavier harpoon so I can reach the fish when he gets alongside. I usually fish alone, so the smallest mistake in the cockpit or gear is magnified. It has worked. The fish I landed on the next trip dressed out at 550 pounds with the head and tail off. I went another two times after that and did nothing on the third trip, but hooked three giants on the fourth, landing another that dressed 435 pounds. I was challenged by the fish, had some fun, had some misery, made some money, made some mistakes, and learned from them and will be back again next year, hopefully for a few more trips than this year. Hope to see you, Bruce
