Today was the first real action to be had on th etuna grounds. It appears there was a good bite to the southeast. Finally the North winds have moved things around enough to produce a change. The bluefish have moved into the C bouy area with the warmer waters. We have been catching 38 to 42 inch stripers every day from the rips east of Monomoy. Sand eels are the ticket. In the open water, the blues are dominating the scene, but there are pockets of stripers mixed in. Last week my cod charters were very satisfied with the 10 pound plus cod I caught for them. They can be had quite close on the "crab ledge" and the "lemons". If you are considering a trip call soon to make a reservation, as I will be settingf aside my commercial tuna fishing days at this time. Thanks, Bruce
