It is the end of the 2001 year. She is really going out with a bang, as it seems the winds have been a steady 20-25 kts from the northwest for a few days now, and it doesnt look like it will end for a few more. I would like to now take the opportunity to thank each and every person that came aboard the Miss Jillian with me last year. When I first started with fishing charters, I really had no idea that this would be so much fun ! From experienced big water fisherman, to young persons aquiring the courage to touch their first fish, I owe thanks to you all. I have both taught you and learned from you. I have seen the joy in a childs eye as well as the parents' in beholding a day on the water - fish or not. I have seen seasoned veterans tremble with exitment over a feeding school of fish. I have seen the proud smile of a mom that "did it" at the end of a successful family fishing trip. Most of all - I have been able to share with you my days on the water, good or bad, exiting or not, and somehow the sharing makes it more rewarding to me.
