I receive calls both on the boat and at home many times a day from folks that have just arrived on the Cape looking for a fishing trip. I also received calls several times last year from regular customers that had come with me in previous trips, looking to go out on short notice. Unfortunately, I was unable to book them as I became quite busy in the July through October season. I guess it is a good thing to be busy, but I was unhappy that I could not fit in the charters. Most folks would not plan a week or two of vacation without reserving a place to stay, yet it seems many fail to reserve a fishing boat in advance. Keep in mind many charter boats are booked two months or more in advance. I expect that I will be equally or more in demand in 2002, as the word spreads of the fishing we have here. In the hopes of turning less people away this year, I offer this advice if you are considering a trip. "CALL AHEAD AND RESERVE YOUR DAY EARLY !"Thanks, Capt. Bruce
