Hi, I had bass charters this weekend. It is just as well as the bluefin tuna bite has slowed a bit, the price is down and the fish are small. We have been able to find some fantastic bass fishing with the light gear. They seem to bite all through the tide, with no dogfish or blues and we end up throwing back a hell of a lot of 38 to 42 inch fish !! It seems the water has cooled considerably from the 64 degree range to the 60-61 degree range. It seems the bass in the open waters have moved back into the rips. If you can find a good area ( like we have) stick to it and you will be rewarded.
