The fish are still coming on strong at the rips of Bearses Shoals. At times they are up on top at the High Bank rip and other have the fish right in the rips good. On top they seem to go for the Fin- S in the 5 3/4 inch size and when in the rips use the sand eels and you will do well. We had 29 fish on this afternoons 5 hour trip and I'm guessing maybe 20 on the morning 5 hour.
Here is one customers email from last week :
Captain My Dad, son Luke (especially) daughter Amelia and I had a great time fishing on the Miss Jillian last week. The action was steady and the fish were great (and delicious). Thanks to you, Luke has caught the fishing fever (along with his four keeper-sized fish) and will be heading down to the river with me this morning for a quick casting-session. Thanks also for the tip on bluefish - went out the other night and pulled in a 10 pound bluefish on superlight tackle using an orange colored popper. What a fight. Attached is a photo from our trip. I hope you'll count on me if you ever need a friend or contact here in mid-SE Mass. Berkley is exit 10 on Rte 24. Hope all is well and that our paths cross again - either on the seas or in the woods.
I hope all my customers feel this way about their trips with me.
