On Saturday I was in Pleasant Bay with the Eric Wormstead charter. we had consistent action with small schoolies on the first half of the trip. Using light rods and 10 pound test line, we managed to catch 20 or so schoolie stripers up to 27 1/2 inches long. Not what I would have wanted, but we did have some good action. Then the fish moved on and we looked around at a couple of other spots, and found a bunch of small 3-4 pound bluefish at the tailout of a small rip on a sandbar. I think we had some exitement there with an occasional double and triple going. We lost a few lures before we could get some leaders tied on but it was fun. I think we caught at least a dozen of them, keeping 3 or 4 for the evening barbeque.I guess the big ones are in Cape Cod Bay or on the Bishops and Clerks !
Good Fishing,
Bruce
