Hi Everyone, Its got me pretty good, but I have managed to stay busy with changes to the Capeshores Charters website, updating my customer database, and renewing the unbelievable amounts of NMFS and state permits and inevitable insurance policies. Look for at least a dozen new pictures on the Gallery pages to the site. Yes, Kenny and Neil will finally be there as well as the one I promised Dr. Stone. The database of my customers is to track contact and address information, frequency of charters, and to develop a mailer that will go out to folks that have contacted me and shown an interest in fishing with me. Soon most of you will be receiving a postcard, reminding of the upcoming season and that reservations should be made in advance. If your addresses have changed, or you do not wish to be on this snail mail list, please email the changes to me and I will delete you and make the corrections. There are no cod in the area to the east of the Cape. Folks that have called looking to go, I have referred to the guys that charter out of the Marshfield - Green Harbor area, and further north, and even that has dropped off lately. I hauled the boat about a week ago, before Pleasant Bay froze up again. I am dissappointed that I never did get to catch my 100 pound box for Jake & Mary Ann in Kansas ! (Where I go bowhunting)
The latest T shirt winner was Mary Goterch from New Hampshire. Congratulations ! Its about time a woman won one of those things ! My reservations are picking up all the time now, as folks line up their vacation dates. If you know that you want to go out with me again and when you are going to be here, then make your reservation ahead of time. Please call or email regarding the best time and tides for the week of your trip. Remember the bass bite when the tide is running, so the less current there is, the more finicky the fish are. Also, it might be a good idea to plan your date and subsequent time of departure to the travel time to the boat from where you will be staying. Once we establish the date and time, the reservation needs to be completed with a deposit. One third is enough, generally $150 for a 5 hour trip and $200 for a 7 hour trip. I hope to hear from you.
Thanks,
Bruce & Miss Jillian
