Scott and his gang at Cape Cod Computer Wholesalers have just finished the final touches on the new http://www.sportfishingcapecod.com website. There is lots of new photos, links and text this year and a newer more user friendly survey form. Take a look, perhaps you or one of your family members will be in one of the new photo galleries. Rates did increase $50 to cover the increases in fuel and insurance, and that is reflected in the text on the rates page. There are lots of new links for ease of planning a vacation or just stuff I thought might be informative to you.I have had more than a few (17) reservations that have not sent in their deposit checks. Remember the reservation is not complete until you send me the deposit. Many of you are now my friends, having been with me many times over the years, and its not that I don't trust that you would make it right if you couldn't make it. Maybe you just forgot, so this is a gentle reminder.
It helps me to renew permits for docking, and insurance renewals that are all due this next month. Besides, its just that its a business-like way to do it. (Try reserving a summer lodging on Cape Cod without a deposit !)I was down at the Chatham fish pier this morning and the three new 8 ton floating "South Jog" finger piers have arrived and are in the processes of being installled with a 100 ton crane. We will have an entirely new floating pier system this year for safely loading and unloading passengers. I am also in the process of going through the survey forms from the last several months. Many of you will be receiving a Capeshores Charters T shirt from being one of the 15 th persons to fill out the forms. Watch for a congratulatory notification and T shirt size and color request from me in the emails. I am also in the process of ordering lots of new tackle and equipment for tuna fishing trips. Many of you have been requesting tuna charters for the upcoming season. I hope its a good one !
